Admissions and Records Office
Provides assistance with enrollment and residency issues

Assessment Center
Offers assessment tests in English, ESL, math and chemistry designed to evaluate the skill levels in these subject areas

Associated Students
Offers Student Government and Leadership opportunities

Offers a number of intercollegiate sports teams

Sells textbooks, SMC gear and supplies

Campus Police
Provides law enforcement, crime prevention, investigation, security, parking and traffic control services.

Career Services Center
Provides career counseling, college major selection, resume writing tips, and internship opportunities

Child Care Services
Provides child care services for SMC students with children

Disability Programs and Services (DSPS)
Offers services such as tutoring, specialized equipment, test proctoring, among many other accommodations for students who are eligible.

Financial Aid Office
Helps students achieve their educational objectives through the administration of federal, state, and institutional aid programs.

Health Services Center
Provides primary health care services to currently enrolled students

Dedicated to meeting the teaching and learning needs of the College

Acts as a listening ear, conciliator, mediator, and resource for students with problems involving faculty, administrators, and other issues

Psychological Services
Provides a broad range of services, including brief individual counseling, crisis intervention, and referral services, to enhance the personal well-being and the psycho-social development of students

Scholarship Office
Administers the SMC Foundation's annual Scholarship Program and processes off-campus scholarships, and provides information about scholarship opportunities from outside sources

Student Clubs
SMC is home to more than 60 student clubs

Student Employment (On Campus)
Students can work at SMC as a part-time student helper or can secure a federal work study job

Transfer/Counseling Center
Provides academic counseling for continuing students with more than 30 units

Transcript Information
Provides process for ordering an official transcript

SMC offers free tutoring services to all enrolled students. These services are designed to improve student success and include both individual and small group tutoring

Veterans Resource Center
Acts as a liaison with the Veterans Administration verifying enrollment for students claiming benefits under the G.I. Bill or the Veterans’ Vocational Rehabilitation Program
