Unless otherwise noted, concerts are held in The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage or in The Edye, both located at the SMC Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Santa Monica Blvd., between 10th & 11th Sts., in Santa Monica. Advance tickets for concerts with an admission charge may be purchased online now by clicking the "Buy Now" button below, by phone at (310) 434-3005, or in person at the SMC Theatre Arts Box Office (Theatre Arts Complex, SMC Main Campus; limited hours). Tickets may also be purchased at the door 45 minutes before event start time. A modest service charge applies.
  Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.

A Day in the Blues
Join SMC music faculty Terry Carter and The Tomcats—virtuoso Steve Trovato on guitar, Terry Carter on guitar/vocals, Robbie Fontana on bass, and John Atkinson on drums—for an amazing session of classic blues. The band puts its twist on blues standards written and performed by legends such as Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Magic Sam, BB King, Johnny Cash, and more! The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by Hugh Wheeler. From an Adaptation by Christopher Bond. Terrin Adair-Lynch, director, and Gary Gray, music director. Lauren Blair, choreographer. Times are hard in 1846 London and one must make ends ‘meat.’ So, businesswoman Nellie Lovett adds something extra to the lovely pies she peddles from her shop on Fleet Street. The secret ingredient? Freshly murdered victims of her partner-in-crime, Benjamin Barker, better known as Sweeney Todd.

SMC Opera Theatre & SMC Symphony:
Luisa Fernanda
Janelle DeStefano and James Martin, Directors. Love, rivalry, and politics combine dangerously in the revolutionary atmosphere of mid-19th century Spain in Federico Moreno Torroba’s Luisa Fernanda, one of the great zarzuelas (Spanish operas) of the 20th century. SMC Opera and SMC Symphony Orchestra combine forces for this full production in Spanish with English supertitles.
