SMC Jazz Ensemble & SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble
The SMC Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Frederick Keith Fiddmont, joins the SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Cindy Bourquin, for a collaborative performance that explores the love for blues and swing, the tradition of improvisation, and the rich vein of music known as the American songbook.

SMC Wind Ensemble
Kevin McKeown, Conductor. April concert features an exciting mixture of both new and traditional music written specifically for wind instruments. Performance highlights include Paul Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis and a premiere work from local composer Peter Senchuk. June concert is our highly entertaining “Pops” concert showcasing the most memorable music from film, TV, and the Broadway stage.
