Performances are held in one of the two theaters in the Theatre Arts Complex, located on SMC’s Main Campus, 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica. Listed prices are for advance tickets. Price at door is an additional $3. Advance tickets may be purchased online (www.smc.edu/eventsinfo), by phone at (310) 434-4319, via a ticket order dropbox by the Theatre Arts Department office, in person at the SMC Theatre Arts Box Office (Theatre Arts Complex, SMC Main Campus; limited hours). A modest service charge applies. Discounts available for SMC students (with current ID) and seniors attending selected events.

Man of La Mancha

Written by Dale Wasserman. Music by Mitch Leigh. Lyrics by Joe Darion. Winner of five Tony Awards, Man of La Mancha is a play within a play, performed by Cervantes—a Spanish Inquisition prisoner—in the role of Don Quixote, who takes us on a whimsical journey in his quest for the “Impossible Dream.” The good and innocent are celebrated in a world filled with darkness.
