Dr. Gregory South is the Vice President of Instruction at the College of the Siskiyous. He has 29 years of progressive responsibility and 10+ years of executive/senior administrative experience. His current tenure at COS has included ser ving as the Board appointed acting Superintendent/President, the interim Vice President of Academic Affairs for two years, and Dean of Student Learning. His preparation also includes a MA, in Physical Education/Psychology and Sociology of Sport Motor Learning and a Ph.D. in Education, from the University of Idaho. He is a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education Management in Leadership in Education (MLE), the Rockefeller funded American Association of Community Colleges Future Leaders-Advanced Institute (FLI-A) programs, and the Association of California Community College Administrator (ACCCA) Administration 101 program.
