Student Printing from College PCs

  • Log in to a student computer with your SMC network username and password. Check in Corsair Connect if you don't know your SMC network username.
  • Print your job from the PC. Please note the printer that your job is sent to (e.g. BW-1, BW-2, etc). You will need to go to that printer to retrieve your print job.
  • To pay for your print job you will need to buy a pay-for-print card for $1 or $5. (NOTE: $.50 of the amount is for the card itself, but you don’t need to buy a new card when your value runs out.) In the Library there is a card vending machine in the downstairs photocopy room. The pay-for-print vending machines do not give change. You can also buy pay-for-print cards in the College Bookstore. If you need to add value to your card, you can do so online at the URL listed on the card, or in the Library at the add-value machine.
  • Go to the print release station located next to each printer. Find your name on the list. Select your print jobs and choose Pay with SM Card. You will be prompted to swipe your card through the mag card reader. The cost of the job will be deducted from your balance and your job will be printed. If you have problems please see the section on Printing Problems.
