Mina’s teaching experience is extensive, covering the Western tradition from Prehistory to the Contemporary. Her dissertation, completed in 2011, explored the role that Rural Art Colonies played in the complex cultural transformation of the world in the last two centuries. This research of the various phenomenon of the Art Colony like social engagement, cultural tourism and gentrification, has been ongoing and presented at many conferences throughout the United States and Europe. Professor Majstorovic’s other interests include the relationship between decorative arts and architecture, and the interaction between art and ecology.
