Aileen Huang attended UC Berkeley and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business. She started her career as a Business Consultant working for Arthur Anderson, LLP implementing Enterprise Resource Planning systems at large companies. Shortly after that, she joined Ernst & Young, LLP and worked as an Auditor serving clients ranging from start-ups, IPOS, and Fortune 500 companies. Her private accounting and corporate finance experiences are mostly in the Entertainment Industry.
At The Walt Disney Company, she held the position of Accounting Manager for the Walt Disney International Group. There, she was in charge of the consolidation and reporting of foreign financial statements for Disney’s foreign subsidiaries from over 20 countries. She also held the position of Production Finance Director for Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO). Her main focus at HBO was helping HBO obtain and qualify for various film and television production tax incentives offered domestically and internationally. She served as the Director of Budgets and Cash Forecasting for the International Finance Group at Warner Brothers, Entertainment Inc. Her responsibilities included the consolidation and reporting of over $1 billion dollars in Cash Budgets and over $200 million in Corporate overhead budgets.
Her international Accounting and Finance background has taken her to business meetings and conferences in Sweden, Great Britain, Italy, China and Japan. Aileen Huang holds an MBA degree from the Andersen School of Management at UCLA, and a CPA license from the state of California. She currently teaches full-time at Santa Monica College.
