SYNAPSE DANCE THEATER, CONTEMPORARY DANCE ENSEMBLE
Directors: Jae Lee and Roberta Wolin-Tupas
Synapse Dance 55A
The course offers performance experience and is organized as a modern dance company for concerts and dance productions. Students participate as dancers and choreographers. Styles range from modern to postmodern fusion, developing new vocabulary and drawing from related dance-theatre forms for personal artistic expression.

Auditions in Gym 104
Student Choreographers: Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Gym 104 at 12:30pm
Dancers: Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Gym 104 at 12:45pm
Sign in begins at 11:45 am (must be signed in before 12:45)
Rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday & Thursday 12:30p-4:50p.m. (All dancers must be available at these days/times). All accepted dancers must enroll in Dance 55A and 55C.
Additional rehearsals may be scheduled for Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. (optional attendance).

GLOBAL MOTION, WORLD DANCE COMPANY
Directors: Raquel Ramirez and Sri Susilowati
Global Motion Dance 57A
This course offers performance experience and is organized as a world ethnic dance company. Dancers and choreographers audition, rehearse and perform on stage traditional and contemporary forms of world dance. Styles include Salsa/Tango, African, Afro Cuban, Belly Dance, Hawaiian, Flamenco, Mexican Dance, Ballet, Swing, Lyrical Jazz, and more! (subject to change)

Student Choreographers: Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Gym 102 at 6:00 pm

Dancers: Friday, February 22, 2013 in Gym 102 at 12:45 pm
Sign in begins at 11:45 am (must be signed in before 12:45 pm)
Rehearsals are scheduled for Monday & Wednesday 6:00 - 9:30pm & Friday 1:00 - 4:00pm. All dancers and choreographers must be available for all of these times. All accepted dancers must enroll in Dance 57A and 57C.
