'Skills for Success' Workshops

Each semester, the History Department offers faculty-led Skills Workshops for students. The first, in Week 2 of the semester, focuses on “Prep for Success,” behavioral strategies for achieving your academic goals. Workshops on Note-taking (Week 3), Reading Analytically (Week 4), and Essay Writing (Week 5) highlight specific skills. The Essay Writing workshop in Week 7 workshop is timed for mid-terms and the Warner Essay contest submission deadline. No reservation is required.
Seating is on a first-arrival basis.

The schedule of workshops begins the second week of Fall and Spring semesters.
