All students enrolled in Math 50 and 31 must complete 16 Arranged Hours during the semester by the specified due date. For Math 31 only, it can be completed by using material supplied by the textbook publisher. Students must purchase this booklet, for free activities please go to:

Students who purchased a new textbook bundle from the SMC Bookstore can chose between publishers textbook activities or free department created activities. Should a student chose to complete the textbook activities, please note that photocopies of activities cannot be accepted as this constitutes copyright infringement. Work must be shown on the original activity page and not on a separate piece of paper (additional work on scratch paper will be accepted as long as it has been stapled to the activity).

No work shown = No credit

Math 31

Activities come in a separate booklet called "Learning Guide". Each section is worth one hour credit.

The due date is June 8th, by 12:00 pm for the Spring​ Semester of 2020. To get your activities stamped and recorded please stop by the Math Lab Coordinators office in MC - 84A. Students can get up to 5 activities stamped per day and should not wait until the last day of the semester, as it will lead to incompletion of Arranged Hours.

During the semester hours for recording purposes are:

Mon - Thu from 8:30 a.m. to 5:0​0 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.​​

The Math Lab Coordinator will have extended hours for the purpose of recording activities the week before finals. As soon as the dates are determined, they will be posted on this page.
