Online Activities for Math 84 to satisify arranged hours requirement

You can complete your Arranged hours online using the ConnectMath Homework system.  The ConnectMath  course code is packaged with new editions of the text purchased at SMC.  You can also purchase it alone (if you bought a used text) online at www.ConnectMath.com


In order to use ConnectMath for Arranged Hours, you will need to register.  It is important to follow the directions carefully so that we are able to connect your ConnectMath hours with your Math 84 class section number for Arranged Hour credit.   Failure to enter all the information indicated will result in 0 hours accumulated to arranged hours. 


First Time Registration

1. Go to www.ConnectMath.com

2. Click the “Sign up now!” link.
3. Enter your Course Code.
4. Confirm the enrollment information.
5. Enter your access code or purchase an access code online. 





 

6. Fill in the remaining information to complete registration.

Enter your email address and create a password.  You will use this information as your future user name and password. You may want to record it here for your reference.

7. Make sure to follow online instructions to complete your registration.




Important note:  Students will receive 40 minutes credit toward their Math Lab hours requirement for each Homework section that is completed with a score of 70% or higher. No activities other than those designated as “Homework” will count toward this requirement.
