Teaching Philosophy/Equity Statement
Education as an interactional process and the role of an instructor is both a facilitator and a learner. My goal is to frame issues within the context of the students’ life experiences thus motivating and cultivating students’ abilities to think critically for themselves and their communities. I am hoping to generate agents of change in the interest of self-determination and empowerment.
