Thank you for agreeing to participate in this special tradition at Santa Monica College.

Cap and gown reservation process

Step 1	Fill out an Academic Regalia Information form and send it back to the Admissions and Records Office.
If for some reason you did not receive a form and you would like to attend the graduation, please email the following information to Angelita Ramos (ramos_angelita@smc.edu) by MARCH 21st. Name; Order (complete set OR just cap, gown or hood); Height, Highest degree completed; Discipline in which you earned said degree; College/University at which degree was earned. Deadline: March 21st, 2013: Late orders cannot be accepted because of our ordering deadlines.
Step 2	Pick up your robes – date and location
June 3 through 7 Monday thru Thursday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Admissions Office, Building A, Office of the Dean NO ROBE PICK-UPS ON THE DAY OF GRADUATION! (Our staff will not be available to distribute the robes as we are busy with the rehearsal and preparation for the event).
Step 3	Arrival time and locations for the Graduation
Tuesday, June 11^th Arrive at the cafeteria no later than 5:30 p.m. It is recommended that you bring pins to secure your cap.
Step 4	Enjoy the graduation event and know that you played a part in helping these students reach their academic goals!

Step 5	Return your robe ASAP!
Ideally you will return the robe immediately after the ceremony at the Cafeteria; otherwise: June 12 to 14 Wednesday & Thursday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Admissions Office, Building A, Office of the Dean
