Official Transcripts Request

Option 1: Online Request (fastest: mailed and electronic)

  • Transcripts orders are processed through our partner, Credentials. Several options are available:

    • Regular Service: mailed out within 10 working days after receipt of signature authorization.

    • Rush Service - Hand Carried: available for pick-up at the Admissions Office on the 3rd business day (Monday - Thursday ONLY), after 1:00pm, after receiving your signed authorization.

    • Rush Service - by Mail: orders mailed on the 3rd business day after receiving your signed authorization.

    • Federal Express Service: added option allowing you to track the transcript while in route to the destination.

Option 2: Order In-Person (mailed only)

  • Transcripts may be ordered in person, during regular office hours, in Admissions and Records, located at 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405.

  • Transcript Order Request form: student must bring in person and present a government issued photo identification.

  • In-person orders are processed within 4 weeks after receipt of signed authorization, and are for transcripts to be mailed only.

  • Questions about transcripts ordered 4 or more weeks earlier can be addressed to (310) 434-4467.

Transcripts Costs

  • Costs for transcripts ordered online may be found here.

  • Costs for transcripts ordered in-person: Fi​rst two copies are FREE. Additional copies are $5 per copy.

  • Rush Service costs $10 in addition to the regular $5 transcript fee for a total of $15 per copy.

  • "On The Spot" transcript service is offered for a $27 fee. This option can only be made in person. Please note that "On The Spot" transcripts must be requested by 4:30PM for same day service. ​

Viewing Unofficial Transcripts

  1. Login to Corsair Connect system link.

  2. Enter your SMC ID number and password.

  3. Click on "Student Records" on the left menu.

  4. Select "Unofficial Transcript."

What if I have not been a student at SMC for awhile and I cannot view my account via the Corsair Connect System?

  • You will need to reapply (update your information on the application). After doing so you will regain access to view your information through the Corsair Connect.
