Refund Policy

Medical Insurance 2013-2014

Refund Policy

Refund of premium will only be made if the Covered Student withdraws from the school due to:

  1. Entering the armed forces of any country. Premiums will be refunded on a pro-rata basis (less any claims paid) when written request is made within 90 days of leaving school.
  2. Withdrawal from school during the first 30 days of the period for which enrollment was made.
  3. Departure from the Policyholder's school for his or her home country. Premiums will be refunded on a pro-rata basis (less any claims paid) only upon written proof from this Policyholder that the Covered Student is no longer an eligible person.

If withdrawal from the Policyholder's school is for other than 1), 2) or 3) above, no premium refund will be made. Students, including those who withdraw from the Policyholder's school during the first 30 days to due to injury or Sickness, will be covered for the Policy term for which they are enrolled and which premium has been paid.


No refunds will be given if you purchase other insurance after the semester begins.
 
In the event a claim has been filed, the premium is fully earned and no premium refund is available under any circumstances.
