Summer Bridge
For the summer of 2007 Santa Monica College is offering a
summer bridge program for first-time college students.
The summer bridge program is designed to prepare students for the academic and
social adjustments necessary to become successful college students.
Program highlights include intensive English and Student Success Seminars to prepare students for college-level work.
Classes are taught by dedicated faculty in learning communities (linked courses) where students and instructors work together so that two courses reinforce each other. A supplemental instructor will also attend classes and work with students outside of class to enhance students' learning experiences.
