Santa Monica College is proud to carry the films made by filmmakers from around the world from the Global Film Initative.  SMC currently has copies of the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 series in the library.  Click on any of the film titles to go to the Global Lens page to learn more about each film.

Thus far the Global Lens series has included films from: Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Bosnia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Herzegovina, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Russia, Rwanda, Serbia, Slovenia, SouthAfrica, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam.  Specifc film countries of origin are listed below next to the film title, and director.
