Making a Complaint
A complaint regarding alleged lack of equal opportunity or unlawful discrimination in the workplace may be made verbally or in writing to any of the following persons:

- Any Immediate Supervisor
A complaint regarding alleged sexual harassment in the workplace may be made verbally or in writing to any of the following persons:

- Any SMC Manager
- SMC’s Superintendent/President
If you wish to make a written complaint, you may use this Alleged Discrimination/Harassment Form or make your own writing. If you use the Alleged Discrimination/Harassment Form, a copy of the complaint will be sent to the Legal Office of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, and the District’s investigation of the complaint will be conducted pursuant California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Sections 59300 to 59362.
