​​Santa Monica Community College District offers Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) under Section 125 for eligible faculty and staff through Ameriflex.

If you have any significant or predictable out-of-pocket medical expenses (i.e. prescription medication, orthodontia for yourself and/or children, co-pays and co-insurance for doctor’s visits, insurance deductibles, etc.) or pay for child/adult dependent care, you may be able to reduce your taxes by enrolling in Section 125 Health Care FSA and/or Dependent Day Care FSA plan.

To Enroll: Employees are only eligible to enroll within 31 days of their hire date or during open enrollment. Please contact the Office of Human Resources for more information.
