Join trauma psychotherapist Satsuka Ina and director Abby Ginzberg for a screening and discussion of the Silver Gavel Award-winning documentary that connects the World War II incarceration of Japanese Americans with today’s activists speaking out against the Muslim travel ban. Film includes CSU Sacramento professor emeritus Satsuki Ina, and actor and activist George Takei. Both were children in an internment camp. Ginzberg is a Peabody Award-winning director and president of the Berkeley Film Foundation. Dr. Ina has produced two award-winning documentaries about the Japanese American incarceration.
