The “FALL AT SMC” Photo Contest

The winning photo was taken by Fai Fong, Programmer Analyst III in the IT Department.  Fai was "simply messing around" with a camera she had bought a while ago. She captured the fall leaves in front of the Business Building on main campus. Thanks to the following sponsors for the prizes that will feed our winner, keep her bike running well and bring music into her life: Campus Kitchen, The Center for Environmental and Urban Studies and the Broad Stage!

George Prather, Director of Auxiliary Services, made a friend on Flex Day. George saw a whole plate of cookies left sitting on a table and as he approached the table to take them to the office (who hasn’t done that before!), a squirrel was sneaking up on the plate too. George got the cookies first but he couldn’t help noticing the look of “total despair” on the squirrel’s face. So, he handed the little guy a cookie. He grabbed it and ran up a tree to enjoy his treat, while George watched. Squirrel by George Prather
