After 65 Years, Mission Accomplished
Over six decades after he’d dropped out of law school, Saul Isler wanted to earn a college degree. This time round, he found his niche—at Santa Monica College. He found a community and a diverse campus culture that made him “kvell.” To the list of freelance columnist, patent draftsman, business owner, and fiction writer, this 85-year-old has added: college graduate.
