Teresa Hall Summer Dreams To Life Dreams

Last summer, Teresa Hall took inner-city junior high and high school students on field trips throughout Southern California as project coordinator for I HAVE A DREAM FOUNDATION, a project designed to reduce the number of school dropouts.

This summer, Ms. Hall, now a Santa Monica College counselor, is carrying on the dream by helping college students launch careers. Ms. Hall, who began with SMC last fall, is a career counselor in the college’s Career Center. She teaches a career planning class, conducts career planning workshops and counsels students on an individual level.

Her office holds a wealth of job related information. If you are unsure about the career path you want to take or require more information about your fields of interest, you can get the help you need from Ms. Hall and her fellow counselors.

They provide tests to help define your interests; put you on the computer to get information on career prospects, trends and pay; or refer you to their growing library of materials on career planning.

Explore your dreams! The Career Center will be a willing partner.
