The Santa Monica Cheerleaders are back in action for the 2011-2012 school year. We are headed for a busy season cheering for football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's volleyball. Our season is not limited to home games. Your SMC cheerleaders travel with football, basketball and men’s volleyball. It is a long week of practice, games, and hard work, but the dedicated individuals that make up this team take each stride with a smile.
The team practices four times a week and travels to two games. At practice we focus on tumbling, stunting, 1 minute dances and perfecting our motions and technique. We are grateful to have recently received mats from our athletic department so we can take our techniques to the next level. It takes a great deal of dedication, time, and commitment to be part of the SMC Cheer Team. We are proud of our program and excited about its future.
