SMC wins American Pacific Conference with victory over West LA.
The Corsairs capped an historic season with a 32-21 victory over West LA to capture the school's first Conference Championship in 20 years. The team finished the regular season 8-2, with an impressive 6-0 conference record.
Corsairs Force Six Turnovers in 37-31 Win Over LA Pierce
SMC forced four fumbles and two interceptions in Saturdays win over LA Pierce at Corsair Field. Alfonso Medina threw three first half TD's and Trevor Dionne kicked three fourth quarter FG's to seal the win for the Corsairs. With the win SMC moves to 3-0 in conference play and 5-2 overall. The Corsairs host LA Valley for homecoming Saturday at 1:00 pm. at Corsair Field.
SMC Football Team Scores 56 In Win Over LA Southwest
The Corsairs traveled to LA Southwest College and put 56 on the Cougars on Saturday night. Coach Giff's team moves to 2-0 in conference play and 4-2 overall. SMC hosts LA Pierce Saturday on Corsair Field at 1:00pm.
