How long have you been playing the game?
I started playing soccer when I was about 4-years-old. I played AYSO until I was 9-years-old and then joined my first club team, Samba. I played the majority of my club career with the Camarillo Eagles.
What was your most memorable moment of your high school career?
I played varsity all four years at Chatsworth High School. My most memorable moment was winning a city championship my junior year.
What led you to choose SMC to continue your soccer career?
I chose SMC because I wanted to get away from my hometown, but not too far away. SMC was perfect for me in the sense that they have a great academic program as well as a great women’s soccer program. From the coaches to the girls to the location…everything felt right.
What is your focus in school right now?
As of right now I am just taking care of my general education requirements because I don’t know what I want to do. I am leaning towards Political Science or Business as my major but I will probably change that another 15 times before I make a decision.
What are your thoughts on playing at the next level?
Although I am proud of where I am right now, I still have a long way to go. To achieve my goal of getting to the next level I need to stay focused on improving certain aspects of my game and continue to work hard on and off the field.
Do you have a “dream” school?
Where I would like to play after I graduate from SMC is a good D-1 or D-2 school that offers a good education as well as a strong women’s soccer program. I’d have to say my dream school is UCLA.
