Mission Statement

The SMC Health Services Center provides primary health care services to currently enrolled Santa Monica College students who have paid the California State mandated health fee.

We focus on health promotion, illness prevention, referrals, health and nutrition education.

The staff consists of registered nurses, registered dietitian, health assistants, nurse practitioners and doctors.

Our​​ goal is to advocate, inform and empower students in making sound health care decisions and lifestyle changes. Confidentiality is always respected and ensured with all services


The Health Services Center is located in the northeast corner of the Cayton Center Complex by the Cafeteria.

Health Services Center Hours

Student Health Services is open Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Dietitian’s hours are Tuesday – Thursday 9 a.m – 2 p.m., by appointment or walk-in.

Student Health follows the Academic calendar and is closed on Institutional Flex days, College holidays, and during the Spring & Winter break.
