Limited Scholars courses:
These are courses that are specifically designed to meet the unit requirement towards Scholars Certification. The Scholars Program offers specially designated sections of general education classes, emphasizing a rigorous academic experience. Class enrollment is limited to 25 students, assuring individual attention. In these special honors courses, students are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of subject matter through the use of writing, research and analytical skills.
Recommended Scholars courses:
In addition to the limited Scholars courses offered, there are also a number of recommended courses that will count for Scholars credit. Recommended courses are identified with an asterisk (*) on the course schedules. These courses are open to both Scholars and non-Scholars students. Please note that while Scholars credit is received, the Scholars identification will not show up on the transcript.
