Welcome to the Veterans' Resource Center at Santa Monica College serving veterans entering college for the first time or returning to college to further their education. The office acts as a liaison with the Veterans Administration verifying enrollment for students claiming benefits under the G.I. Bill or the Veterans’ Vocational Rehabilitation Program. We can also assist the veteran with referrals to various veteran-serving programs in the West Los Angeles area.
Our center is located in the Liberal Arts building, Room 135.
Official correspondence is sent via your SMC student email account, please be sure to check your account often as important notices affecting your benefits that are time sensitive are often disregarded by students because they forget to check their email!
We are currently serving student veterans by appointment only. Please contact Pat Galloway at (310) 434-8205 to set up an appointment. We will begin seeing students on a WALK IN basis on MAY 14th. Students will be served on a first come first served basis.
