Santa Monica College Adelante Program

Adelante and the Latino Center help Latino students develop to their fullest personal and academic potential. Adelante is a special program that emphasizes the study, communication, and critical thinking skills essential to succeed in college. Courses in the program emphasize building students' self-esteem and self-expression through cultural awareness, as well as enhanced verbal and written communication.

The program also provides a strong support network for each student. Tutorial assistance is also available in English, math, and other subjects.
