ASSESSMENT:  It is important that you finish the assessment portion first.  The software uses this section to determine where you should spend your time working.  If you do not do the best you can, the software will have you working below your ability level, and you will not make the most of your time.  Conversely, if you get help in completing the assessment, the software will exempt you from areas where you may benefit.

TUTORIAL: The tutorial presents the material to you, and familiarizes you with each section of the software.

LESSON: The lesson allows you to do the work presented in the tutorial, and allows you to see where you might need more work before taking the test.

TEST: The software accepts a score of 80% or better as mastery of a certain subject.  Each test may be taken three times before it is locked.

Save your work by hitting the exit link.  The software will instruct you to hit F10 to save your work.

Please remember to log out when you are done working.  There are a limited number of seats available to SMC students, so if you are logged in but not working, you may be keeping someone else for being able to work.

Saving and Log-Out:

Save your work by hitting the exit link.  The software will instruct you to hit F10 to save your work.

Please remember to log out when you are done working.  There are a limited number of seats available to SMC students, so if you are logged in but not working, you may be keeping someone else for being able to work.

Make sure you are using Internet Explorere, and have enabled pop-ups on your computer. Plato can't run without pop-ups enabled.

How do I save my work before I log out?

You can hit "Exit" anytime, and the program will prompt you to hit F10, or you can simply hit F10.
