Welcome to the Business Department at Santa Monica College. Our Department includes both the Accounting, Business, Insurance, and Automotive Technology programs. Courses offered include topics in Accounting, Finance, Law, Marketing, and Management. Within these broad areas of study, you will find specializations in International Business, Business Communication, Information Technology, and Tax just to name a few.
Our faculty are the cornerstone of the department. All faculty have graduate degrees and relevant business experience. In fact, many are full-time business professionals who integrate their business acumen with the classroom.
Classes are scheduled to offer flexibility in completing your academic goals at SMC. Courses are available on campus and online, during the day and at night, and in both traditional and accelerated formats.
