Stage Beauty (Compleat Female Stage Beauty) By Jeffrey Hatcher. It’s 1661 in Restoration Era London, and King Charles II declares that only women may play female roles in plays. This puts Kynaston famous for his portrayal of women out of work. But with the help of the King’s mistress, ‘pretty, witty Nell Gwynn,’ Kynaston makes a suspenseful and dramatic comeback! Picasso at the Lapin Agile By Steve Martin. The Good Woman of Szechwan By Bertolt Brecht. Three gods descend on a Chinese villagelooking for a good person, and reward a kind-hearted prostitute.
