President's Corner

A Message from the President   Dear Associates Friends: We are pleased to present another year of exciting and informative programs to benefit Santa Monica College students and our community at large. Your support is truly valued.  It allows our hardworking Board to select among a rich array of speakers and events to fund and bring to the College.  Judy Neveau and her team in Community Relations and Public Programs work with important speakers from near and far as well as with accomplished faculty members to develop outstanding  program proposals for the Board's consideration, programs that will attract our audience and satisfy a wide variety of interests. Our goal is always to enrich the learning experience of our students and to expose them to the world around them in all its dimensions.  By funding exciting and challenging programs, we hope to further develop and inspire their thinking and add to their knowledge. Please check back often and attend these great programs that you make possible with your support.  Don't forget to bring friends, family and prospective new Associates members along! Be sure to join us for our annual Membership Kick-off Celebration at RAND on September 10th. The lively and articulate Patt Morrison of radio and television will be our keynote speaker.
