Admissions Process

PLEASE NOTE: FUTURE HYBRID LVN-ADN COHORTS ARE NOT SCHEDULED FOR ADMISSION. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE GROUND LVN-ADN PROGRAM PLEASE SCHEDULE A COUNSELING APPOINTMENT WITH AUDRA PENCHANSKY - 310.434.3453

Step 1

• Complete the Santa Monica College online admisisions application. 

Step 2

• Complete the Online Information Session.
• Complete an Interest Form (Word) or Interest Form (PDF).  

Step 3

• Enrollment in Nursing 19 - Introduction to Advanced Placement (Must pass Nursing 19 with a grade of "C" or better)
  Prior approval from a Nursing Counselor is needed to enroll in Nursing 19

Step 4

• Program Application to be completed with an Online Nursing Counselor
• With Counselor's consent complete the admission readiness assessment

Step 5

• Attend Mandatory Orientation
• Submit additional documentation and materials upon acceptance to the program
