Applications are now being accepted for:

  • Winter/Spring 2010 (admission notification will be sent out beginning July 2009)
  • Summer/Fall 2010 (admission notification will be sent out beginning January 2010)  

Summer 2009 Term is in session June 22, 2009- August 14, 2009
Fall 2009 Semester is in session August 31, 2009 - December 22, 2009
Winter 2010 Term is in session January 4, 2010- February 11, 2010
Spring 2010 Semester is in session February 16, 2010- June 15, 2010
Summer 2010 Term is in session June 21, 2010- August 13, 2010

The following programs require a different application procedure. Click the appropriate link below for more information:

  • International Education Center: For students planning to attend SMC while on an F-1 visa. 
  • Emeritus College: Classes are held in a variety of locations primarily for seniors. Contact the Emeritus College for a schedule of course offerings and admission information. 
  • Community and Continuing Education: These are short-term, low cost, not-for-credit classes. Some classes are open to students under 18 with permission from the instructor.  Check out the variety of course offerings!
  • High School Concurrent Enrollment Program: This program allows currently enrolled high school students to take up to 6 units (or 2 classes) at SMC concurrently with their high school coursework.

FOR DISQUALIFIED STUDENTS ONLY:  PETITION FOR READMISSION

If you have been previously disqualified from a college, you must complete the Petition for Readmission form along with your online application. We will also need an official copy of the transcript from the college where you were disqualified.
