The California Postsecondary Education Commission has created a website that provides data on the number of students that transfer from California Community Colleges to the public Universities in California. Click here to go to that website.
Below you will find transfer statistics for Santa Monica College students that actually enrolled at the University of California for the last few full academic years. Transfer information is provided by the University of California and the (CPEC) California Postsecondary Education Committee. We do not have access to transfer data by individual majors at individual campuses.
Santa Monica College has transferred the most students to the University of California of any California Community College. Approximately 85% of all junior transfer students accepted into the University of California come from California Community Colleges.
For the last three full academic years, Santa Monica College has also transferred the most African-American and Chicano/Latino students into the University of California.
