SCOPE:
The Committee explores all academic and professional matters involving equity and diversity in the hiring of faculty.
FUNCTION:
1. Reviews and makes recommendations to the Academic Senate on issues of equity and diversity in hiring, equal opportunity, and cultural diversity in the curriculum.
2. Recommends to Human Resources matters related to plans, programs, projects and training that uphold our commitment to faculty equity and diversity.
3. Promotes the hiring of faculty who support the goals of student success for a diverse student population. |
