WHAT IS EOPS?
EOPS is a state funded program that provides educational and financial support to eligible stuents who have historically experienced economic and education disadvantages. As an eligible participant, you will receive additional support through counseling, tutoring, financial assistance, and other services designed to help you complete your educational goals. |

- Registration Assistance
- Textbook Loan Program
- Tutoring
- Book Accounts
- Cultural and social activities
- CARE
- Educational and career developmental workshops
- Application fee waivers to 4-year college/universities

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR EOPS?
You are ELIGIBLE for EOPS if:
- Are a California resident.
- Meet the state family income criteria. (See income grid)
- Enroll in at least 12 units upon acceptance to the program.
- Have not exceeded 50 AA applicable units.
- Are determined to be educationally disadvantaged (i.e. ineligible for college level English and/or math, or a non-high school graduate. There are other educational criteria that may qualify you.)

HOW DO YOU JOIN EOPS?
We welcome you to join EOPS if you meet the eligiblity criteria above. Just follow these three (3) easy steps and you'll be on your way:
- Apply and receive the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver (Method A or B).
- Complete the math and English assessment tests.
- Complete and submit the EOPS application. (Pick up an application at the EOPS office.)

* Once the EOPS application has been certified ELIGIBLE, students will be invited to attend a mandatory EOPS orientation. Dates and times will be sent to all eligible students. ONLY students who have been CERTIFIED into EOPS will be allowed to participate in the process. |
