Libbrecht, Professor of Physics and Chair of the Physics Department at Caltech; Dr. Sean Anderson and Dr. Glen MacDonald, biogeographer and award-winning researcher and teacher at UCLA.

The Global Connection series features Kamran Pasha, writer-producere of "Kings"; Dr. Reuven Firestone and  Dr. Kal Raustiala. The UC Press lecture series brings Peter Asmus, author of "California Energy: Sustainable Solutions for the 21st century".  And last but not the least:  Dr. David Hayes-Bautista as the special speaker for the Latino Heritage Month.
