Amelia Trejo, Administrative Assistant II
 

General Responsibilities:

Coordinates the Student Activities, services and programs. Maintains a variety of complex and confidential files and records in compliance with District, State and federal rules and regulations.

1.A.S./I.C.C.Webmaster                                                                                                                2. Maintains working conditions in a service-oriented student activity/government environment serving a multicultural and multiethnic population.
3. Maintains staff's time and leave reports.
4. Monitors and maintains records of budget expenditures for the Student Activities, student clubs, Associated Students and Student Life, including the processing of proposals, requisitions, invoices, contracts.                                                                                                                               5. Creates Office forms and packets.                                                                                            6. Maintains records of areas in which the Dean of Student Life oversees including Health Services, Psychological Services, Child Care, Cayton Center Computer Labs and Create and Maintain lists of current A.S. Directors & Commissioners.
7. Provides clerical/secretarial support to the Dean of Student Life. Maintain a variety of complex files and data for processing of student matters in accordance with District, Federal and State guidelines.                                                                                                                               8. May supervise functions of the office in the absence of the academic administrator.

         
 
Michele Harrison, Administrative Assistant I
 

General Responsibilities:

1. Greet and screen telephone calls, students, and visitors; responds to questions from students, staff and the public.
2. Assist the Associate Dean of Student Life and the Student Activities Counselor/Advisor.
3. Works closely with the ICC Officers and Advisor to create or revise, process and maintain club registration packets, paperwork, club row packets, club listings, and files on a computerized tracking system.
4. Transcribes & composes staff meeting minutes.
5. Explains and informs students and members of the public of procedures, requirements, and restrictions for posting of flyers and distribution of literature on campus.
6. Receive computer and phone problems; handle or refer as necessary.
7. Mail distribution and maintain club mailboxes.
8. Recruits, trains, orientates, supervises and maintain timesheets of student assistants.

 

 

         

  Monica Serratos, Counseling Aide        
 

General Responsibilities:

1. Assists the Student Life counselors in organizing and making available college choice information to students.
2. Assists counselors in providing information and explanation of college, major and/or course requirements.
3. Assists students with identifying transfer resources.
4. Provides information and explanation of the counseling function in the Associated Students.
5. Assists students in making appointments with A.S. Counseling staff.
6. Assists in preparation of counseling workshops.
7. Assists counselors in informing club leaders and members about AS counseling services and other benefits of involvement in AS/Student Life.
8. Completes written reports as may be required.
9. Other duties that may be assigned by the Counselors or AS staff.
