Associated Students Directors
AS Directors

WHO ARE THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS?

Associated Students (A.S.) is the student body government organization of Santa Monica College, comprised of students and their elected and appointed student officers.

Associated Students builds student leadership skills, advocates for student success in the operation of the college and provides students with excellent extracurricular opportunities in student government, A.S. activities, clubs and more.

Your AS representatives are elected by SMC students every year to represent student interests to SMC administration (among others) and to approve spending AS money - which comes from the $10 AS fee that you pay during registration. So, knowing who your AS representatives are and what they do is important to make the best use of your money to serve your interests!
