2007 Cross Country Season

Returning for his sophomore year, Daniel has become one of the guys the team looks to for a consistently dependable performance. Even though he did not improve from last years P.R., due to more difficult courses. Daniel showed his dramatic improvement by defeating many runners who graduated as some of the fastest high school prospects. Percentage wise, Daniel made a much larger performance improvement than most of his competitors. As a freshman, Daniel made some dramatic improvements from his high school performances. He ran 4:26 in the 1500m...9:50 in the 3000m...17:00 in the 5000m and ran 23:05 in his first cross country season.

While in high school, Daniel ran 18:14 over the three miles...he ran a personal best of 5:06 in the 1600m and ran 11:20 in the 3200m.
