The Santa Monica voters approved a bond measure in 2002 of $160 million for facility improvements including a new performing arts theatre to be completed Summer 2006 and two Liberal Arts building currently under construction.Santa Monica College will continue to build many new projects over the next decade with the assistance of a second bond measure passed in 2004 for $135 million.  Future athletes will benefit from renovations of Corsair Field including a new artificial surface and lights, and a new Physical Education Complex with new locker room, weight rooms and team rooms.

The athletic facilities are located on the North/West corner of the campus and include Corsair Field, the Pavilion, a three court gymnasium and the Santa Monica Swim Center, a new state of the art aquatics facility.
