"I love it," said Pyron Escobar, about his new hairstyle. Escobar heard about the free haircuts from a friend and decided to get a layered haircut, long in the front and short in the back. The two most popular styles that are cut are the very short crew cut and the wedge with a long front. "You always have to make the customer happy," said hairstyling student Wahe Bandaryan. He feels very confident about giving free haircuts and would like to work with both men's and women's hair in the future. "I love the art of beautifying," said Edrickcan Johnson, hairstyling student. "I want to master the art of men's hairstyling," she said. When asked about the class she said, "I like it. It gives me the practice I need." The responses she's gotten from customers have been good. "They like my work," said Johnson. People who are interested can stop by the Cosmetology Department on the 1st floor in the Business building on Monday mornings between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. No appointment is needed. |
