CLASSIFIED SENATE MEETING AGENDA
The first Classified Senate meeting of the academic year is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2002 in the Loft (Drescher 300-E, across from the Academic Affairs office). Classified Senators unable to attend the meeting are requested to e-mail Gayle Sosa in advance.

The Classified Senate is an advisory body to the College Board of Trustees. California state laws and regulations require that the college have a system for gathering classified employee input on governance matters likely to have a "significant effect" on classified staff.
The Classified Senate does not get involved in anything having to do with wages, benefits, or terms and conditions of employment.
Any employee or member of the public may attend Classified Senate meetings. All employees participating in general Classified Senate meetings do so on personal time under the current rules.
