CLASSIFIED SENATE MEETING AGENDA: (Please post on bulletin boards in your area.)

Wednesday, December 11, 2002, in Drescher Hall Loft (DH 300), 12:05 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.

Classified Senators unable to attend the meeting are requested to e-mail Gayle Sosa in advance.

 

  1. Call to order. (Please sign the roll sheet before the meeting ends.)

 

  1. Minutes will be distributed at or before the meeting whenever possible, and corrections will be taken at the end of the meeting to save time.

 

  1. General comments by members of the public or members of the college community. (Limited to 2 minutes. Comments must be on topics within the scope of matters delegated to the Classified Senate by Board of Trustees Policy 1620.)

 

  1. Presentation by Steve Levine, Media Services Coordinator, on Academic Senate’s proposal for a campus-wide computer use policy. The Classified Senate must decide whether this policy might impact classified employees. (Section #8 is within the scope of collective bargaining so the union has sole jurisdiction over that part; the Classified Senate will not discuss section #8.)

Notes on Next Meeting: Doug Forsyth, a non-management classified employee in the classification of Theater Technical Director, has agreed to give a presentation on classified employee involvement in planning new buildings. Doug is helping with design of the new Main Stage.
