SUBJECT: Approval of membership in 4CS
It is recommended that the Classified Senate APPROVE becoming a supporting member of
the California Community College Classified Senate (4CS) and pay the requested donation of
$100.00 for 1997-98.
Comment: The California Community College Classified Senate (4CS) was
established in 1993 and provides opportunities for representation and feedback from
Classified Senates at other community colleges and has an active subcommittee which works
on legislative issues.. The donation would be to defer the cost of mailings, fund guest
speakers and materials. The funds cannot be District Funds it must be money that the
college senate raises through fundraising activities or donations.
