Index to Committees
in the
Santa Monica Community College District

NOTE: This page may look better when printed in landscape orientation (sideways).

Names of district-sponsored college-wide committees are indicated in red italics.

Groups that participate on the committee in some way are indicated with a "Y" in the appropriate box.

The sponsoring group is indicated with an asterisk * after the Y. Each group determines which of their committees are open to members of other groups. Groups that do not participate on a particular committee are indicated by a dot in the appropriate box.

Sponsoring groups may use words like "task force" or "board" instead of the word "committee".

Note: The "Accreditation Standard" committees are not shared governance committees. Any college employee may volunteer to participate. Selection is by the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The accreditation committees will call ease operations when the accreditation cycle is complete (after Spring semester 2004).
