BRUCE D. TOMKINSON

BA, MA UCLA

Tomkinson has been teaching full time at SMC since 1969. He was influenced by Asian ceramics and specializes in sculptural utilitarian forms. He is a member of the Ojai Studio Artists and Ventura County Potter’s Guild, and he exhibits in galleries in Los Angeles and Ventura County.

Tomkinson teaches Ceramics 1, 2, & 3 as well as Independent Study, and in the Mentor Program.
